General Lease Terms:
Order and payment:
Immediately following receipt of the order, Hals Strand Ferielejligheder will send confirmation. On receipt of the lease confirmation, the first payment, equivalent to 25% of the lease sum, must be paid. This must be paid no later than 48 hours from when you booked your stay. The remaining sum (2nd payment) must be paid to Hals Strand Ferielejligheder no later than 60 days before the arrival date. When booking less than 1 month before arrival, the entire lease sum must be paid immediately. If the total sum is not paid as above, Hals Strand Ferielejligheder are entitled to cancel the lease and demand a cancellation fee of DKK 250 per reserved holiday apartment.
Note: The minimum age for lessees is 18 years.
Check of lease confirmation:
On receipt of the lease confirmation, it is the responsibility of the lessee to ensure that periods and home types are correct.
Cancelling leases:
When cancelling a lease more than 60 days before arrival, a cancellation fee of DKK 400 per reserved holiday home must be paid. When cancelling a lease less than 60 days before the arrival date, 50% of the lease sum can be refunded if you cancel your stay due to acute illness, accident or death that affects the lessee, partner, children, parents or siblings. The reason for cancelling the stay must be documented by a doctor, and a doctor's note must reach Hals Strand Ferielejligheder within 7 days of cancellation of the stay.
Changing a reservation:
Any change made less than 15 days before arrival will be considered a cancellation.
Force majeure:
Hals Strand Ferielejligheder may cancel or interrupt the lease due to force majeure, understood to include war, riots, strike, lock-out, oil and petrol rationing, border closures, epidemics, natural and pollution catastrophes or similar events. In the event of force majeure, Hals Strand Ferielejligheder are obliged to inform the lessee as soon as possible. In such circumstances, Hals Strand Ferielejligheder will not be liable for any compensation or repayment of sums received.
The lease price includes:
Use of the holiday home and its equipment during the lease period, free entry to indoor swimming pool, a children’s pool and sauna and free hot spot internet.
Deposit:
For school, sports and group trips, a deposit of DKK 1,500 per holiday home must be paid. The deposit must be paid along with payment for the stay. This sum will be returned no later than 2 weeks after departure provided there are no problems or damage to the holiday home.
Cleaning:
Day-to-day cleaning should be performed by the lessee. Cleaning supplies can be found in the holiday home. Final cleaning must be paid along with payment for the stay.
The lessee’s responsibilities:
The lessee is fully responsible for the holiday home's equipment. Problems and damage caused by the lessee must be paid for by the lessee on departure. The person who has signed the lease is thereby also responsible for damage caused by other residents in the holiday home during the lease period. The maximum number of residents for holiday homes is stated in the price list. At least one person over 18 years of age must be resident in the holiday home throughout the stay.
Complaints:
Any complaints must be forwarded to the service center at Hals Strand Camping immediately. Any demands for compensation must be communicated to Hals Strand Camping in writing no later than 7 days following departure.
Energy bill:
You pay for your own consumption in your holiday home on departure. Please note that the holiday homes are district-heated.
